On January 30, 2016, the Danish aid worker, Anja Ringgren Lovén, rescued the boy and gave him the name ‘Hope.’ Hunger almost sipped the life out of a two-year-old starving boy in an Akwa Ibom community in 2016 until a Danish woman rescued him.
