Governor Bassey Edet Otu of Cross River State has called on Cross Riverians to see the ongoing e-registration of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as an opportunity to register and become bonafide members of the ruling party in the state and Nigeria as a whole.
Otu, a proactive and transformational leader, rated as one of the top performing governors in the country impacting significantly on the lives of the people, made the call on Saturday via a statement he posted on his Facebook page.
According to the governor, the APC is working round the clock to ensure the overall development of Cross River State, constructing roads, creating jobs, catering for the people’s welfare and providing enabling environment for businesses and investment opportunities.
The statement reads: “My people of Cross River State, I warmly invite you to join us in the All Progressives Congress (APC).
“Our party is working every day to bring development, better roads, jobs, and a brighter future for our state.
“This ongoing APC e-registration is your chance to be part of the process and have a say in how Cross River State is run.
“Whether you are joining for the first time or updating your membership, all you need is your NIN and Permanent Voter’s Card.
“When you register, you are standing up for progress and supporting a government that is committed to serving the people.
“Come and be part of the APC family.
“Together, we will move Cross River State forward.”
