Former member of House of Representatives representing Igali Federal Constituency of Kaduna State, Hon. (Barr.) Ibrahim Bello has declared that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (PBAT) and the Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani have worked excellently well to deserve re-election in 2027.

Hon Bello made the declaration in a media chat after addressing members of Igabi Federal Constituency at a rally organised for the endorsement of President Tinubu. and Governor Sani.

The endorsement rally was held at NTI conference Hall, Rigachikun, in Igabi Local Government Area (LGA) of Kaduna State, which makes up the Igabi Federal Constituency.

According to Hon Bello, an erstwhile member of Pan African Parliament, Governor Uba’s administration has made a significant impact on the lives of the people of Kaduna State.

His words: “Our amiable governor, His Excellency, Governor Uba Sani, has done a lot for the good people of Kaduna State. He has offered good governance and ensured that the dividends of democracy trickle down to the grassroots and various communities in the state. Our people are pleased with his leadership style and happy with his administration for the lives he touched and smiles he has put on the faces of citizens resident in the state.

“His numerous achievements are visible for everyone to see. With his SUSTAIN agenda, our highly reliable and dependable governor has, since assumption of office about 2 years and 10 months ago, recorded remarkable feats to the admiration of Kaduna people in the area of rural transformation, infrastructure development, educational advancement, human capital development, upgrading of primary healthcare centres, agriculture, social welfare, security and restoration of peace through dialogue. Kaduna State has never had it so good. Governor Uba Sani has made a clear-cut difference as far as governance in Kaduna State is concerned.

“Uba Sani, a peace-loving governor, strongly believes in inclusive administration where everyone and every part of the state is fully recognised and duly carried along in the scheme of things. That’s why he has ensured an equitable distribution of resources across every part of the state.

“This is the first administration that frowns at nepotism, religious bigotry, and discrimination in Kaduna State. Under Uba Sani, everyone is treated equally devoid of any form of discrimination.”

Continuing, he said: “In the same vein, President Tinubu has equally demonstrated pragmatic leadership in administering the affairs of our dear country, Nigeria. He has shown courage in taking some tough decisions and embarking on reforms geared towards repositioning the nation for economic progress and prosperity.

“Tinubu, a quintessential leader, has led the country with great doggedness and tenacity of purpose. His administration has diversified government earnings beyond crude oil. Under Tinubu’s watch, we have seen a tremendous increase in non-oil revenue, stronger foreign reserves, improved fiscal health, massive infrastructural development, social investment in vulnerable households, and improved allocations to states and local governments.

“Under Tinubu’s stewardship, we have seen a steady increase in crude oil production after years of underperformance before he took over in 2023. We have also seen how President Tinubu’s administration is aggressively pushing Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) as a cheaper alternative to petrol, with the launch of the Presidential Initiative on CNG shortly after he assumed office. Our beloved president is seen to have taken various laudable steps aimed at building a better future for the country and the Nigerians people.

“President Tinubu has made notable efforts in fighting terrorism, insurgency, and banditry since he came into power on May 29, 2023. This can be seen in his administration’s strategy that tends to place emphasis on international collaborations, the invitation of foreign experts, and the deployment of modern technology to battle insecurity in the country.”

The ex-parliamentarian and legal pundit, who is currently a Special Adviser to the Governor Sani on Chieftaincy Affairs, added that “President Tinubu and Governor Uba Sani have both done excellently well to deserve to remain in their respective offices beyond 2027. We must know that it is always dangerous to change a winning team.

“Tinubu is working hard to place Nigeria on the path of greatness, and Uba Sani is leaving no stone unturned to take Kaduna State to admirable heights.”
