In a political space where noise is mistaken for strength and shouting is sold as leadership, HON UCHE BEN ODUNZEH moves differently. He is calm, and that calm is intentional. It is the kind of stillness that unsettles noise-makers because it cannot be bullied, rushed, or intimidated.
For far too long, Orlu zone has been trapped in a cycle of recycled rhetoric, emotional manipulation, and political stagnation masquerading as representative.
Politics should not be a lifetime occupation sustained by sentiments and slogans. Leadership is not about how often one appears on television or how loudly one speaks on national issues; it is about impact. And impact is measured by outcomes, not intentions.
The people are tired. Tired of excuses. Tired of recycled narratives. Tired of being told to clap for symbolism while other regions collect substance. Representation is not a favour; it is a responsibility. And when that responsibility is persistently unmet, retirement becomes not an insult, but a necessity.
As 2027 approaches, the message from the grassroots is growing louder: Enough is enough. Orlu zone deserves a new kind of leadership, one that understands that emotional politics cannot replace economic empowerment, and that visibility without productivity is a failure.
The era of political gimmicks is ending. The people are awake. And history will remember those who chose comfort over commitments. Odunzeh deplored.
