Orlu political zone is made of four Political clans, which comprises, ISU, Orsu ,Oru and Ideato.
ISU clan comprises of four (4) and half LGA,namly.
Orlu LGA, ISU, Nkwere ,Njaba & Nkwgele .Since the return of democracy in 1999, Orlu political affairs and imo state at large has been largely dominated by the Orsu clan, Oru clan and Ideato clan and this is exactly why 2027 must be the turn of ISU clan in the spirit of equity, justice, and fairness.
A quick look at the Senate orlu zone.1999 tells the story clearly:
Hon Arthur Nzeribe was there for 8 years. Orsu clan
Sen Hope UZODIMMA went for 8 year. Oru clan
Sen Rochas Okorocha Ideato clan went for 4 years.
Sen Osita Izunaso went for 8 years.
Also Orsu, Oru clan and Ideato clean have held both governor and deputy governor, why ISU clan remains abandoned.
This means that from 1999 to date, Orsu, Oru and Ideato clan have held power for 26 years, while ISU clan has had none.
By every standard of political fairness, it would be difficult to justify Political parties mostly NDC supporting and giving ticket to another candidate from Orsu, Ideato or even Oru clan in 2027 when ISU Clan remains the most underrepresented clan in the democratic era.
The argument here is not about personal loyalty or political structure. It is about restoring confidence in the Charter of Equity and preserving the unity of orlu zone
If orlu zone Senate returns again to Orsu ,Oru or Ideato clan in 2027, it may deepen the long-standing feeling of exclusion in ISU clan and weaken the moral basis of zoning politics in the zone. Even many current public discussions on orlu zone senate 2027 are already making a strong case that ISU clan should produce the next senator
For 2027, some of the strongest names often mentioned from ISU clan zone include:

These is a candidate with administrative experience, visibility, and political structures capable of giving Orlu zone a credible shot at the Red chamber.

In imo west senatorial district the combined factors of political iniquity and social decadence plus economic despondence has dangerously made it possible for Orsu , Oru and Ideato clan to have producing Senators and even governors and deputy governors, who has occupied the Imo State Government House for more than 25 years.
Therefore, for equity, justice and fairness to prevail, and for the progress, stability, growth and development of the imo west senatorial district, naturally and normally, an Isu clan ward ought to be voted in as senator comes 2027.
As fate will have it, a brilliant, workaholic and visionary ISU clan son of the soil, has emerged in the horizon. He is Hon Uche Ben Odunzeh from Eziachi orlu LGA in imo state.
