Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate, Temi Nkem, has emerged winner of the reality television show’s “Show Ya Sef” edition.

The 21-year-old was crowned winner during the grand finale of the show on Sunday, October 4, 2026, after 70 days of competition, drama, tasks, nominations and evictions.

Nkem defeated Aikou and Sheba, who finished as the first and second runners-up respectively.

According to the final voting results, Nkem polled 25.87 per cent of the total votes cast by viewers across Nigeria and other parts of Africa.
Aikou followed with 23.68 per cent, while Sheba secured 9.80 per cent to finish third.

With the victory, Nkem takes home the N160m grand prize package, which includes N90m in cash, a brand-new SUV and other sponsored prizes.

The cash component was reduced from the initially announced N100m after N10m was set aside for the season’s Most Influential Player of the Week prize fund.

The victory also makes Nkem the fifth female winner in the history of Big Brother Naija.
Nkem, whose real name is Temitope Chigbue, was among the 24 contestants unveiled when the 11th season of the reality show premiered on July 26.

The season, hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, introduced viewers to contestants from different backgrounds who competed through weekly Head of House games, tasks, nominations and evictions for the coveted prize.

Nkem quickly established herself as one of the season’s most recognisable housemates, largely because of her outspoken personality, confidence and distinctive British accent.

Born and raised in London, England, the reality star has Nigerian roots and is associated with Delta State.

Before entering the Big Brother house, she was a student and lifestyle content creator, with her online activities including shopping and luxury-related content.

During her 70-day stay, Nkem survived several tense moments and nominations while building a strong following among viewers.

Her supporters became known as the “Teminators”.
One of the memorable moments in her BBNaija journey was a fake eviction towards the closing stages of the competition.

Instead of showing fear or distress, Nkem reportedly smiled, waved and said, “Chakam”, a moment that quickly generated reactions among viewers.

Her time in the house was also marked by several other dramatic and unpredictable moments, including tasks, confrontations and interactions with fellow contestants.

Nkem’s place in the finale was secured after Barry exercised his Ultimate Veto Power to activate “Immunity for All”, cancelling the scheduled eviction and public vote for that week.

The grand finale itself witnessed a series of evictions before the competition was reduced to the final three.
Barry, Oyin, Ricky, Flora, Tram and Bluethopia were evicted one after another during the live show, leaving Nkem, Aikou and Sheba to battle for the ultimate crown.

Aikou, who had also enjoyed a strong run in the competition, finished as first runner-up with 23.68 per cent of the votes, while Sheba took the second runner-up position with 9.80 per cent.

The finale brought the curtain down on a season that began with 24 housemates and featured several twists, including veto powers, nominations, evictions and
other strategic changes designed to keep viewers engaged.

The 11th edition also recorded notable twists during the competition, including disqualifications and a voluntary exit, adding to the drama that characterised the season.

Nkem’s emergence as winner means she joins the growing list of BBNaija contestants who have transformed their reality-show experience into a platform for entertainment, business and personal-brand opportunities.

Her victory also marks the end of the “Show Ya Sef” season, with the 21-year-old now set to begin life outside the Big Brother house with the coveted crown and N160m prize package.
