Popular Nigerian skit maker and content creator, Carter Efe has come online to weep after Berri Tiga dragged him online for claiming full ownership of their hit song “Machala” which trended across the globe after it was released a month ago.
Recall that Berri Tiga on live video last week said that he wrote the song “Machala” from the beginning to the end. This however sparked reactions from netizens and he has been calling out Carter Efe since then.
Last week, he made several allegations against the comedian tagging him as a cheater. He accused Carter Efe of going alone to perform “Machala” at shows without giving him credit and tagging him on Instagram.
He added that Sydney Talker and Carter Efe offered to pay him 100k. After that, Carter Efe told him his share will be 5 percent of the money made from song while Carter takes 95 percent.
After Berri Tiga said all these on the internet, Carter Efe broke silence and went live on Instagram yesterday showing where the comedian was shedding tears and weeping while trying to clear the air about all the accusations that were made against him.
He said he only helped Berri Tiga by putting him on his song because he wanted to give him more publicity.
He also mentioned that he was the one who brought the idea of “Machala” song adding that he called Berri Tiga around 12 ‘O’ Clock in the midnight to drop a verse one the hit song.
