Uzodimma inaugurates APC liaison officers for Imo’s 305 INEC Wards

The Imo State Governor, Sen. Hope Uzodimma, has inaugurated 305 Ward Liaison Officers for the 305 INEC Wards in the state.
He charged them to defend the achievements of his administration.

Performing the ceremony at the Sam Mbakwe Expanded Exco Chambers, Government House, Owerri on Thursday, November 10, venue of the occasion the governor said that their inauguration was to enhance his administration’s inclusiveness, whereby more critical stakeholders would work and contribute their quota to the administration.

He reminded the Officers that before now the people were living in fear of insecurity, especially in the rural areas but thanked God that the situation had been brought under control with relative peace now reigning in the State.

Uzodimma explained that their appointment was also done so as to sustain the peace that had been achieved by the government in their environment.

He said that with their inauguration, they had become “part and parcel of government,” and challenged them “to go there and defend government programmes and activities alongside other party structures already on ground.”
