Nigerian singer Davido is returning to the stage in full force to perform at the closing ceremony of the 2022 world cup in Qatar. Honk Kong business man Stephen Hung gave the tip out in excitement via a post he shared on his official Instagram page on Thursday Dec 8 2022.
While sharing a picture of Davido, he wrote so happy my bro @davido confirmed he will be performing at the world cup Qatar closing ceremony. Can’t wait to see him there.
Davido according to information gathered by Nigeria News Mark TV was initially billed to perform at the opening ceremony but could not show up due to the loss of his son Ifeanyi Adeleke.
The 30 year old music titan will be performing at the tournament on December 18.
This is expected to be Davido’s first stage performance since he went off the social radar.
The singer made his first public appearance after his sons death a couple of weeks ago when he came out to support his uncle Ademola Adeleke, reputed as the dancing senator, at his inauguration ceremony as the Osun State governor.
