Naira scarcity made my daughter board BRT bus – Father of NYSC member killed in Lagos train accident

Femi Aina, father of Oreoluwa Aina, the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member killed in a Lagos train accident last week, has disclosed that his daughter took the BRT bus involved in the disaster because of naira scarcity. Anambra State Governor Charles Soludo on Monday said the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Godwin Emefiele confirmed to him that banks can now receive and dispense old naira notes.
