Police in Ekiti said on Thursday that they arrested 10 suspects in connection to the death of a student of the Federal University, Oye Ekiti, Modupe Atanda. The Command’s spokesman Abutu Sunday stated this in a press release published on X (formerly Twitter). The police have arrested an associate professor at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) Dr Kadiri Akeem accused of rape.The alleged victim (name withheld) had said the lecturer raped her on August 16, 2023 when she visited the lecturer in the office to sort out issues about her results.
