Ashimolowo urges Tinubu to address 5E’s of critical attention for Nigeria’s devt… says Ibadan Nov. crusade massive

Founder and President Kingsway International Christian Centre (KICC,) worldwide, Pastor Mathew Ashimolowo has called on President Bola Tinubu to address five critical areas: education, economy, environment, electricity and electronics (IT intelligence) as emergency, to salvage Nigeria’s present precarious situation.

This is as he also disclosed that the Ibadan: This is Love crusade would be massive’, assuring that citizens living within the region would be impacted spiritually and physically as some needs would be met.

Ashimolowo said there was serious challenge in the country which required citizens to be encouraged and made to be Consciously productive rather than dishing out pittance as paliative.

‘ There is over 65 percent of farmable land in Africa and we must utilise the advantage positively” he noted.

He counselled the government to be sensitive to the plight of Nigerians, as they were passing through very tough times.

Pastor Ashimolowo, who is the convener of Christ Compassion to the Rural World Foundation (CCRWF), gave the advice in Ibadan on Tuesday, 5 November, at the CCRW- pre crusade press conference.

The event tagged ” Ibadan: This is Love” according to pastor Ashimolowo will hold between 25–30 November at the Liberty stadium, to bring succour and unbelievable level of relief to the people.

Ashimolowo said “Different food items such as rice, beans, garri, Noddles, sugar, groundnut oil, salt, clothings, Bibles, etc will be distributed
” medical services, minor and major surgery will be carried out on indigent citizens by the best experts” ⁿ
He said the objective of the project was not only to win souls for Christ but to also administer on the physical needs of the people with love and compassion.

“It is also a need-meeting programme with the love of God” he noted.

While making a case on how the country would be salvaged from present doldrums, he said” I will advise President Tinubu to carefully address the 5E’s : education, economy, environment, electricity (power) and electronics (IT intelligence).

“He (Tinubu) should focus on production, making the economy productive rather than giving out paliative handout.

” The Constitution must be revisited to restrict our governor’s from taking unnecessary loan.

” Agriculture, which is part of the case for the environment must be encouraged, we must be a productive nation and we have the capacity to feed ourselves and make massive export too.

” Government must empower farmers in the south also, ensure irrigation is introduced because there is the need to produce the food all round the year without season.”
Some ministers that were present at the occasion included: Rev (Mrs) Bankole, Taye Onadapo, Rev Vincent Alaye, Obafemi Olofin, Rev Sampson Ajetomobi, Rev Sunday popoola, Apostle Adebayo, Apostle Jerome, among others.

Ashimolowo said crowd management at the event is guaranteed as ” between 200 to 250 police officers would be on ground to ensure adequate security aside other outfits that will be there to compliment.’

The accomplished clergy advised Nigerians to also assist the government as those in leadership position cannot do it alone without support from citizens.
