The Executive Chairman of Umuahia South, Abia State, Hon Chinedu Enwereuzo has reiterated his promise to deliver democracy dividend to his council area.

This is as he promised to follow the footsteps of the state governor, Dr Alex Otti, in transparency, accountability and service delivery, vowing that he would stop at nothing to ensure that his leadership is focused on the expectations of his local government communities.

Hon. Enwereuzo reaffirmed his promise when Prince Obinna Orji (Igirigi Ndi-Igbo) a notable presenter and mouthpiece of Igbo people in Africa under Igbo Ndi-Oma Africa TV paid him a courtesy visit on Wednesday 22, January.

While reiterating his plans and desires for the good people of Umuahia South, Hon. Enwereuzo said he is working tirelessly to bring more development to the communities by building more schools, repairing more roads, creating jobs for the youths and a lot more.

” I know the responsibility I am carrying as the chairman of Abia South. I know all the promises I made and we have started attending to them, proffering solutions.

” In the areas of job creation we are on it. Also we are focusing on road rehabilitation, schools, agriculture, name them. No sector will be neglected” he promised.

He said the state governor, Dr Otti is a workaholic, who works round the clock, turning the state to a construction site to ensure that Abia is a destination point to emulate.

Speaking during the visit, Prince Orji said the reason for his courtesy call was to exchange pleasantries and to congratulate the new Chairman on his victory. He also said he was in his office to remind him that he is loved by his people and must show great commitment in delivering democracy dividend as promised.

Said Prince Orji ” From the reports I have, you are doing well, you are the peoples’ choice. You are dearly loved by your people so you must listen to them and ensure you respond to their needs and expectation promptly and positivity too. I know and trust that you will deliver on promise. “

Some of those present during the visit included: Hon Barrister Enyinnaya Nwosu; the Deputy Chairman and Chief Calistus Agonmo, Chief of Staff .
