The Executive Governor of Anambra State, Governor Charles Soludo CFR, today commissioned a state-of-the-art Smart Classroom Block at Ngo Primary School, Igbo-Ukwu, Aguata LGA.

The ultra-modern facility was built and donated by philanthropist Nze Basil E. Osuokwu to advance educational development in Anambra South.

Dignitaries at the event included the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Hon. Ben Nwankwo; Member representing Aguata Federal Constituency, Hon. Dominic Okafor; and Chief Dr. Ebuka Onunkwo, alongside community leaders, education stakeholders, teachers, and pupils.

Frontline APGA aspirant for the upcoming Anambra South senatorial election, Chief Onunkwo commended Nze Osuokwu for his vision and sacrifice, describing the project as “a direct investment in the future of our children and a clear example of community-driven development.”

He noted that smart classrooms equipped with digital learning tools will bridge the gap between rural and urban pupils and align Anambra’s basic education with global standards.

Dr. Onunkwo restated his commitment to education, human capital development, and public-private partnerships that deliver measurable impact at the grassroots. He urged other well-meaning sons and daughters of Anambra South to emulate Nze Basil E. Osuokwu and support the drive to reposition education in the zone.
