The campaign organisation backing Dame Princess Esom Nwafor-Orizu has said her experience, capacity and commitment to inclusive representation make her the preferred choice to represent the constituency at the National Assembly.
The group, in a statement issued by its Media Directorate on Friday, said leadership required not only the willingness to serve but also the experience, capacity and courage to deliver on the mandate entrusted to an elected representative.
According to the statement, Nwafor-Orizu stands out because of her understanding of development, business and project execution, which it said had positioned her to effectively represent the interests of her constituents.
The campaign organisation also highlighted her ability to build strategic relationships and translate ideas into projects and opportunities as part of the qualities that distinguish her from other contenders.
It said her vision was anchored on inclusive representation, with particular emphasis on ensuring that women, youths, communities and other constituents had a voice in governance and decision-making.
The statement added that the constituency needed a representative capable of connecting it to opportunities, attracting meaningful federal interventions and consistently articulating the needs and aspirations of the people.
“Leadership is about having the capacity, experience and courage to deliver when given the opportunity to serve,” the statement said.
The group expressed confidence in Nwafor-Orizu’s preparedness for the responsibility, declaring that “Esom is ready” and “Esom is capable.”
It further described her as the choice for inclusive representation and urged constituents to support a leadership that, according to the campaign, would prioritise development, opportunity and effective representation.
