Manchester United superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo has returned to training following the death of his baby son.

Ronaldo and his partner, Georgina Rodriguez, announced on Monday that one of their twin babies passed away during childbirth.

For this reason, the club’s hierarchy granted the Portugal international compassionate leave, keeping him out of United’s 4-0 defeat to Liverpool at Anfield on Tuesday evening.

But the 37-year-old is now back at United’s training ground on Wednesday afternoon ahead of their Premier League game against Arsenal on Saturday.

Ronaldo was honored at Anfield by both the supporters of Manchester United and Liverpool over the sad news of his son’s death.

Reacting to the respect shown by Ronaldo’s sister, Katia, shared the clip of Liverpool fans applauding and wrote: ‘Way beyond football.’
