Total Blessing Campaign Organisation has lashed the Independent National Electoral commission (INEC) for pronouncing Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe as Senator-elect for Abia South federal constituency when the election was inconclusive.

The group says its unacceptable to them.

Also the group pledged massive support on the leadership of the Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Party (APC) in Abia State, High chief Ikechi Emenike, stressing that he has the capacity and magic wand to rebuild Abia State.

TBCO in a communique released after a crucial meeting with its leader, Hon. Blessing Nwagba PHD, APC Senatorial candidate, Abia South observed among others that the February 25th Presidential/National Assembly election was marred by intimidation of APC voters and suppression of results.

The communique released to the media signed by Sir Justice Onwumelu Director General, TBCO and

Elder Uzoma Ikeuka, Secretary and zonal Lega Adviser, APC Abia South reads among others

” That the leader  of the Total Blessing Campaign Organization, Hon, Dame Blessing Nwagba PhD, the APC senatorial candidate described the sudden demise of Chief Sir, F.N. Nwosu Esq, as a nightmare and a great loss to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). She, along with the entire organization and the zonal stakeholders, pray that the Almighty God grant his soul eternal rest, while consoling the family, the APC as a party, and his friends.

”That while reviewing the Presidential and National Assembly elections, there were many reported cases of intimidation of APC party agents and local government collation agents in Obingwa and Ugwunagbo LGA collation centres.  These  were  condemned in their entirety.

”That the Total Blessing Campaign Organization and the APC Abia South stakeholders were dismayed that INEC,  contrary to its initial pronouncement which stated that voting did not take place in 108 Polling Units in 3 LGAs with over 80,000 registered voters, went ahead to declare the APGA candidate, senator Enyinaya Abaribe, as winner.  This is contrary to INEC’s guidelines. This declaration is unacceptable.  We therefore call on INEC to conclude the election.

”That we strongly assert  our support for the most credible candidate in the Governorship race of Abia State, High Chief Ikechi Emenike, towards a better Abia State.

”We also congratulate Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the President-elect of Nigeria while we ask Abians to vote in an APC government in the state for better synergy.

”That High Chief Ikechi Emenike, known for his positive antecedents, is the candidate with the clearest agenda to Rescue and Rebuild Abia State.  Abians are therefore enjoined to eschew clannish sentiment and vote massively for him as the Executive Governor of Abia state. He is a passionate leader ready to usher in a people’s oriented government.

”That we enjoin all APC party faithful and the electorate to turn out en masse on the 18th March, 2023 to vote for High Chief Ikechi Emenike and all APC House of Assembly candidates . All stakeholders are directed to go back and deliver the party’s candidates at their respective polling units.

’That we are appreciative of the leadership qualities of the senatorial candidate, Hon. Dame Blessing Nwagba PhD, for her thoughtfulness in calling her supporters and party leaders in Abia South to appreciate them for their support in the February 25th  election and her  call to deliver High Chief Ikechi Emenike come 18th of March 2023”.
