The burial ceremony of Late Madam NWANNEDIYA UMAH OKORE, (MGBEKE NTO) mother of celebrated, award-winning, ace musician, Oscar Emodee Umah kicks-off tomorrow, Friday 24th, October.
She was aged 91 years, (1933-2024).
She passed unto glory on the early hours of Wednesday 6th November 2024 at the Federal Medical Centre, (FMC) Umuahia, Abia State Capital.
In a statement by Oscar Emodee, ” My late mother’s burial MRS NWANNEDIYA UMAH OKORE), is scheduled to hold on Saturday the 25th of Oct 2025 in my home town Obiene Ututu ( Eziohu Compound) in Arochukwu LGA, Abia State.”.

FRIDAY 24TH OCTOBER 2025.
At 2 PM: Body leaves City Gate Mortuary Umuahia to her Father’s compound in Nde Okpoewa in Ukwuakwu Ututu
4 PM: Body received by Nde Okporie Compound
5 PM: Body received by her maternal home in Amankwu Ututu.
6 PM: Lying in State in her husband’s compound in Eziohu Oblene Ututu.
7 PM: Service Of Songs by Presbyterian Church Of Nigeria, Oblene Ututu Parish.
9 PM: Waka-Keep
SATURDAY 25TH OCTOBER 2025
10 AM : Funeral Service by Presbyterian Church Of Nigeria.
Interment follows immediately at her husband’s compound
SUNDAY 26TH OCTOBER 2025
Thanksgiving Service At Presbyterian Church Of Nigeria, Obiene.
