A woman, Toyin FAYOSE, also known as Toyin Ido Ogangan, has been remanded in Kirikiri correctional custody by the Lagos State Magistrate Court 2 sitting in Ebutte-Meta, Lagos State over her alleged involvement in a cyber bullying and inciting the public against Alhaja Yinka ADESOYE (MD CEO GEC Cosmetics) her family members and others.
She was arraigned before Magistrate Court 2 in Ebutte Meta, Lagos State located on Lagos Mainland, Lagos State, on Wednesday, October 22, 2025.
The defendant (Toyin FAYOSE) a resident of PETER FAYOSE Housing Estate, ikole, Ekiti State, and also an Environmental Health Officer whose head office is in Abuja is facing a two count -count charge bordering on conspiracy, breaching of public peace, cyber bullying, all in connection with a criminal move to demarket Alhaja Yinka ADESOYE of GEC Cosmetics, her family members and others.
According to the charges brought by Inspector General of Police Prosecutors:
The defendant and others (Tolulope Adeoye (Abike Jagaban), Adebimpe Alasho Adura, Layo Stubborn, Straight from the Heart, Kolapo Akeem Abiola (Baba Legba Orororo), Sunday Omion (Epagboyimika) still at large allegedly conspired to cyber bully, cyber assault and incite the public negatively against Alhaja Yinka ADESOYE of GEC Cosmetics and others.
The offences are said to violate Sections 39 of the Criminal Laws of Lagos State 2015.
The defendant, Toyin FAYOSE (Toyin Ido Ogangan), pleaded not guilty to all charges.
Despite a bail application, the court ruled that the defendant be remanded in custody at the KIRIKIRI Correctional Centre until the next hearing date and must desist from further cyber bullying the nominal complainants.
The court granted bail in the sum of ₦1 million, with the following strict conditions: Two sureties in like sum,
Sureties must be residents of Lagos State,
One must be a traditional Chief
The other must own verifiable property with a Certificate of Occupancy (C of O),
The matter has been adjourned to November 18 2025, for continuation of trial.
