Let me break it down for those who don’t know who Peter Obi was before government:
Before he ever became Governor, Obi was already Chairman and Director of 11 companies.
On the day he was declared Governor, he had over 200 containers of goods sailing on the high sea — his own business.
He owned a company in the UK that had more than 30 staff on payroll.
As far back as 1999 when the exclusive UK Black Card was introduced, Obi was one of only 100 people given that card.
When American Express Black was introduced in the UK, he was among the first 500 recipients.
He has passed through virtually every top business school in the world — Harvard, Oxford, Cambridge, INSEAD, Kellogg — schools even Professor Soludo never entered as a student.
As Governor, he swept almost every award — Best Governor, MDGs Awards nationally and internationally. How many has Soludo won?
Today, as a private citizen with no office, Obi still dines with presidents, prime ministers, global CEOs and investors. There are doors he walks through that even President Tinubu cannot access.
So please, put some respect on it.
Obi and Soludo are not mates.
Culled from Conel Nduka.
