The Vice Chancellor who noted that the harsh economic conditions in the country under which the workers operate, stated that inflation as well as the poor economic conditions in the country has negatively affected workers’ conditions.

In his words: “There’s no doubt that the economic climate in the country is inclement. Many workers are living like paupers. Many workers are heavily indebted as their pay is nothing to write home about in the face of the terrible economic conditions. Yet, many workers are so stoic in their duties, handling their work with uncommon hard work, dedication and commitment”

“Let me assure you that my administration will do everything possible to ameliorate the conditions. We will do everything possible to put smiles on the faces of our highly respected and dedicated workforce in FUOYE. Let us continue to work together. Let us continue to show the needed commitment in our different places of work. My administration will not fail to reward excellent and exceptional workers. Let us join hands together to lift FUOYE higher and better than we met it”, Prof. Ogunwole said.
