Police in Bauchi have declared a member of the House of Representatives Yakubu Shehu wanted and placed a bounty of N1 million on him over alleged homicide. Bauch State Police Command’s spokesperson Ahmed Wakil announced this in a bulletin on Tuesday. Shehu represents Bauchi Federal Constituency on the platform of PRP but later defected to APC. Anambra State Governor Charles Soludo on Monday said the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Godwin Emefiele confirmed to him that banks can now receive and dispense old naira notes.
